and Workers’ Compensation alternatives available.
Payroll
Managing your payroll is a time
consuming process. Partnering with a Professional
Employer Organization (PEO) will reduce the administrative
burden of payroll. The PEO will handle those details,
and you’ll have more time to do what you
do best — run your business. In addition
to the mundane task of cutting checks there are
other administrative and tax benefits you’ll
benefit from, including:
Stable Rates on Unemployment
As an employer, you have
tax responsibilities and liabilities. It is mandatory that
you file and pay your Federal Unemployment Tax
(FUTA), State Unemployment Tax (SUTA) and Social
Security Taxes (FICA). The PEO assumes the responsibility
and liability of paying and processing FUTA,
SUTA and FICA. Furthermore, a Professional
Employer Organization spreads your unemployment
risks over a large pool of employees. This
pool is able to absorb a claim easier and
as a result stabilizes or may even reduce
your unemployment rates
Flexible Payroll Reporting Options
You keep control. You will decide how
frequently (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly)
you want pay checks cut, the day of the week
you want your payroll delivered, and the
beginning date and end date of your pay cycle. The
process is kept easy; simply calculate your
payroll hours and fax, email or call the
Professional Employer Organization’s
payroll processing department, and they’ll
take care of the rest. Many PEO’s
also offer web based processing. Please
let us know if this is a desired option. Our
goal is finding the PEO that is tailored
to meet your industry, requirements and desired
options.
Payroll reports, billing reports, payroll
registers, department summaries and
even job costing can be at your fingertips
each payday. You’ll dictate
the detail you desired.
Direct Deposit and Payroll
Deductions
Direct deposit offers automatic deposit
of employees’ pay into their bank
accounts. It’s safe, convenient,
and provides an alternative to long teller
lines and lost paychecks. The PEO can
also administer voluntary and court-ordered
payroll deductions, such as deductions
for uniforms and tools, child-support
payments, optional benefits and IRS garnishments.
